Berkshire Community Foundation
SEBEV Search & Rescue are pleased to be able to announce that they have been given a grant of £3000 from the Berkshire Community Foundation under its Grass Roots scheme.
The grant has been made specifically to enable the team to purchase new radios and radio equipment.
Kris Manning (Chairman) said "we are delighted to have been awarded this grant which will enable us to double our radio handsets. It means that every one of our members, currently around 40, can be issued a radio for search operations. Communications are a vital element of a successful search and this grant will go a long way to helping us improve our life saving services to the communities of Thames Valley."
