SEBEV Search & Rescue Team were out in force this weekend, but not searching. Whilst some of our team members attended the Dartmoor Rescue Group training weekend, others were providing event support to 2 major events in the Berkshire calendar. 

On Saturday night the team provided marshalling to the Maidenhead Lights switch-on. 9 members attended and as an added bonus got to shake hands with Paul Bonhomme who is the Red Bull Air Race British World Champion 2009

On Sunday night the team were stewarding at the Bracknell Lights switch-on. Dance group Flawless (2009 Britains Got Talent) provided the entertainment to a packed crowd.

The weekend was cold and wet for 4 members of SEBEV who attended the DRG training weekend on Dartmoor during which they undertook SAR exercises, group based training and of course the obligatory socialising in the evening. A great time was had by all and a full report (with pictures) will follow.
