If you are looking for a volunteering role in Berkshire that keeps you fit & active, teaches you new skills in Search & Rescue techniques, helps you build on skills you already have & most of all saves lives then we need you.

We meet every Thursday at our HQ in Wokingham and during your first few months with SEBEV SAR you will receive training in Search & Rescue skills, Missing Person Behaviour, Navigation & Communications before becoming a fully operational member of the team.

Further training is given in First Aid, Event planning and Management, Civil Contingencies and much more.

Once operational you will be able to attend searches and civil emergencies as part of the team.

SEBEV SAR supply jackets, polo-shirts and safety equipment but members are expected to provide their own outdoor equipment such as boots, torches etc.

We cover all of Berkshire for Thames Valley Police and we also assist teams in surrounding counties for large or extended searches and callouts can come at any time of the day or night. Note: You do not have to attend every callout or training session!
