Established in 1980 Berkshire based SEBEV Search and Rescue is the oldest Lowland Search & Rescue & Civil Contingency support team in the United Kingdom.
SEBEV SAR (pronounced 'see-bev') is a UK Lowland Search and Rescue team based in Berkshire and provides services to Thames Valley Police and Civil Contingency Support services to the Emergency Planning departments of various local authorities in Thames Valley. Our members are unpaid volunteers and SEBEV SAR is a registered charity.
Our primary role is to provide specialist resources to Thames Valley Police to assist in the Search & Rescue of vulnerable missing people in Berkshire.
SEBEV SAR was one of the founder teams for Lowland Search and Rescue in the UK along with our sister team, Bucks SAR and is a member team of the Association of Lowland Search & Rescue (ALSAR) responsible for the Royal County of Berkshire

26th June - Callout in Bracknell for missing 15yr old despondent. Misper located safely
25th June - Assisting Hantsar in search for 14yr old despondent in Winchester. Misper located safely
21st June - Assisted SUSSAR along with Hantsar and ISIS in Badshot-Lea for male dementia misper
21st June - Missing male with learning difficulties in Amersham. Misper located safe and well
